Maternal Child Health (MCH)

Maternal and Child Health project seeks to achieve the indicators for MDG 4 and MDG 5 in Narok North, Narok South, Transmara East and Transmara sub-counties of Narok County and as a result reduce preventable U-5 and maternal morbidity and mortality in Narok County by 10% through:

• Increasing access to quality MCH services and reproductive services
• Improved nutrition status among under-fives and pregnant women
• Reduced un-met needs for family planning among women of reproductive age
• Strengthen capacity of the County/District Health Management teams and 2 civil society organizations to lead, coordinate and supervise health services
