OVC care and Support program

i)CHAP-Uzima Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Project.

This is a Health and HIV response project. It supports children infected or affected by HIV and AIDS through provision of health and nutrition, education support, Household economic strengthening for OVC households, Child protection and legal support.  This is done through deworming in schools, supplementary, School fees subsidies, uniforms for the needy, learning resources, monitoring school progress, retention and transition. It is funded by CDC through Christian Health Association in Kenya (CHAK). The project is reaching 920 children in Narok North, South and East sub counties.

 

ii)Compassion Child Development Projects        

These are sponsorship projects that ensure spiritual, cognitive, social emotional and physical development of children. They are funded by Compassion International. There are 4 projects running under ADS SR including ; ACK St Paul’s  Erupata, ACK Masurura, ACK Olopi Kindong’oe, ACK Mogor Child Development Projects. The centers are currently reaching are reaching 1,000.
