Adolescent Health and nutrition Project

The project focuses on nutrition, education and sexual reproductive health of adolescent girls within 1000 days after they conceive, ensuring that the girls access to quality health care. This is achieved through empowerment of service providers such as teacher, health workers, Boards of management and caregivers/parents. The project seeks to address the challenge of high teenage pregnancy and low uptake of maternal and newborn services in the county. It is implemented in Trans Mara East and West sub counties of Narok County through the support of Christian Aid.
