The ADS was registered in the year 2015 through the efforts of the former Bishop Ole Sapit who is now the Archbishop. However the organization has in operation since 1983 operating as Narok Integrated Development Program in Narok and Transmara Rural Development Program in Transmara.
The two field offices remained independent serving the larger Narok and Transmara for over ten years. Upon expansion of the work in Kericho and Bomet counties, ADS Soth rif was registered to cover all the social transformation activities within the diocese.
